Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

As of Friday July 15, I most likely have a VERY rare neuroblastoma in my upper sinus olfactory(smelling nerve) area. I am getting good care from Dr Jonathan King, and Dr El Geneidy at SCOA and have some more pending results with a PET scan this week for staging and a final pathology report and am expecting to have surgery in Pittsburgh at a high quality referral center there. Then I can return home to Columbia to heal for a few weeks and then maybe six weeks of radiation here. I would love prayers but not more public posting on social media because I have not yet informed all my current patients and don’t want to worry others needlessly. I will update you here, but maybe would you mind to email me or post on Facebook. Thanks in advance! Since this is so rare and I am a reformed believer, it is not chance and I am sure God has good lessons for me, and closeness to His love and tender care over the next weeks and months. I have a great support system in Lexington and beyond and I don’t need anything other than prayers for localized cancer, prompt surgery, minimal pain and complication and closeness to God, my Hubbie and family. Resting in Him (most days) Jo (and Gregg)
