Thank You so much Heidi for setting all of this up. On August 1,  I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.  It is stage one-located only in my neck. Within a week I had a pet scan and surgical biopsy to determine what type of NHL it was ( there are 60 to 70 different types ) .   I also had a bone marrow biopsy. The type I have Diffused  large B cell (DLBC).  I praise God for this result because it is the most common type and therefore the treatment protocol was very clear .   I will have three rounds of chemo therapy followed up by radiation .


 While  being an emotional roller coaster with all the feelings that come with a cancer diagnosis ,  God has revealed himself to me in amazing ways that many would call coincidences. He's always with me and is already there ahead of me. I trust that he's going to use me for a bigger purpose than me through this journey.  This for sure I know it's no coincidence.


My God, my family, my friends and school and church family have been absolutely incredible .  This honestly is the part that overwhelms me the most .  That God would love me so much to put these people in my life --I am overcome with His love for me.


 We have a phrase in our house that we often remind our kids when the going gets tough:TOWSONS DO HARD THINGS.  Well it's my turn and I am reliant on Jesus- because it's  only throughHIS strength that we are able to do anything .
