I've always been pretty good about annual exams and being in tune with my body and for the most part healthy. One late night I noticed a lump on my left breast. Immediately thinking, no big deal as I have "lumpy" breasts. Just to be safe I scheduled an exam in which was referred to have a mammogram and ultrasound. When the Radiologist came in the room and began looking and moving the wand to my armpit I knew something wasn't normal. Which lead to a needle biopsy. Which lead us to where we are today, I have breast cancer. From what we can tell early stage 2. We are waiting on additional tests to determine our next steps.
