John went into urgent care on November 30th for some back pain. He was sent to the ER where he was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to his liver. He was hospitalized for 3 days due to low blood count, swelling of his abdomen, and a series of tests. He will start chemo on December 10th. We appreciate all your prayers and positive thoughts as we all find our new normal to help John fight this awful disease.
This site is co-authored by Shannon, close friends of our family and Natalie whose husband Ross was diagnosed with Leukemia 6 months ago, almost to the day. Life is strange, fragile and flat scary sometimes. At this point, the Wohlleber clan is not sure what they need; but once we have more information on how we can all support them we will add to the site with various ways to help. What we do know is they will appreciate and truly value any and all prayers.
