Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your prayer support and words of hope and encouragement. The past 3 years have been a journey that we never could have imagined. Without our faith in Jesus most of all, along with the love of friends and family, I can tell you - the journey would have been much tougher than it has been! John has now had shingles 28 times, affecting the left side of his face, near his eye, and at times, on his eye, leaving it scarred and affecting his vision. What bothers him most, along with the excruciating pain, is the constant fatigue. He will tell me that if he had the energy to do something - at least he could get his mind off of felling so miserable. Most of the time, he has no energy to even talk on the phone, or tap out a text on his phone - leaving him quite isolated and alone. ~ We ask for prayer support most of all.
