John had issues with his heart for a long time. After his last incident on May 26th, it was decided that the best course of action would be a transplant. After years of struggling, he received a new heart on June 23, 2020. Words will never express our gratitude to the family that gave the ultimate gift, and our prayers are with them in their loss. The surgery was successful, and we are on the road to recovery. Thank you to the army of friends and family who have surrounded, overwhelmed, and upheld us by believing and walking with our family through these difficult days. We wouldn't be able to do this without you.
