Here's a brief overview of the events leading to John's current situation...


A little over a week ago, John starting showing signs of being sick.  He had a COVID test that came back positive for COVID.  He was doing all the usual things to fight the virus at home, but after a few days of worsening health, he went to an ER to get help.  This ER checked him out and sent him home with instructions for home care.  A couple more days went by and John continued to feel worse.  He went to a second ER to be evaluated.  He was sent home again to continue to wait things out.  It was apparent pretty quickly that he was not improving, but continuing to feel worse.

Late last week, he was so sick that he could not walk without being short of breath and miserable.  He went to a third ER to be evaluated and this time, the doctor that examined him decided to admit him to the hospital.  He had developed pneumonia.

Pray that God will bring the best nurses and doctors to care for him and give them the wisdom to know the best choices to get him through this illness.
