John was diagnosed with a nerve sheath tumor on Dec. 3rd.  Over the past year, he had developed increasing pain and decreased function in his right arm and hand undergoing a series of tests with no conclusions. Some numbness spread to his abdomen and legs which led to an ER visit and admission to BJC on Dec. 20th.  He underwent an extensive surgery on Dec. 23 to remove the tumor, repair his spine, and determine if any further treatment is required.  He is recovering from the fusion of a couple of spinal discs and placement of a rod in his cervical spine.  He currently js still in the hospital working with therapists to regain motor function skills. He is also awaiting test results from the tumor which will drive a plan for continued care. He greatly appreciates all your love and support while he and Bill focus on his recovery.  Please use this site to send John your well wishes and thoughts.  Stay tuned for updates on this site.  Again, thank you for your love and support of John and Bill during this time of challenge.
