John fell on the stairs at the gym on Saturday 1/5/19 and was showing symptoms of a stroke. Staff alerted Barb, who was in the swimming pool and they called 911. He was rushed by ambulance to HCMC and was given the tPA medication within one hour of the stroke. He's lost the ability to move his left arm and leg and his speech is impaired.
