Thank you for visiting this site to support Johnny also known as Papa :)  I am his daughter Natalie and I will do my best to keep you updated with the most accurate information.  (Please keep in mind I am not in the medical field)  ;)

On Wednesday night, August 2nd, Daddy started having pain in his abdominal area.  He went to the Urgent Care on Thursday and was admitted into St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK on Thursday evening.  The diagnosis was a stone in his gall bladder and a stone in his small bile duct. The doctor attempted to remove the stone in the bile duct by scope on Friday and was not successful.  Surgery was scheduled for Tuesday, August 8th to remove the gall bladder and the other stone.  Once he was in surgery on Tuesday, it was discovered the gall bladder was inflammed and lodged up into the liver.  Unfortunately there were complications during the surgery. By removing the gall bladder he lost a lot of blood from his liver and his kidneys went into shock and have shut down.

Daddy is currently in stable condition in the ICU at St Francis.  He, along with our family, are receiving excellent care.  He does have a breathing tube in and is not awake at this time.  He has received 2 rounds of dialysis and will continue to receive it as necessary.  Each day he is a breathing a little on his own.  We are celebrating each baby step moving forward.

Daddy has a long recovery ahead but we have no doubt that God is bringing healing to his body.  We know Our Mighty Savior has commanded his angels to guard him and take care of him!

My mom Audrey, also known as Gran :), is hanging in there.  My sister and I are here with her and helping her during this time.  I know she appreciates all of the prayers and calls of support that she has received.

Our family feels God's presence with us and know He is holding us in his righteous right hand as we cling to His promise:
"Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."  - Isaiah 41:10

We thank you for your prayers during this time!  I will keep this site updated with his daily progress.
