On Wednesday, December 6 I got a call from my parents house and I heard nothing so I thought it was a bad connection. I hung up and called back. My dad answered with slurred speech and said that he had had a stroke and to call my mom. I told him to take an aspirin and he said he couldn’t walk. I felt so badly for him because he was there by himself. I called 911 and yelled down the hallway to my principal to down my mom’s phone number and tell her about the situation. I left school immediately and headed for my parents house. When I arrived to my parents house Ambulance was already there. They took him to the local hospital and did a scan and determined his brain was bleeding and that he would have to be transported to a different hospital. He flew by Nightingale to Norfolk General.
