Thank you for visiting. Dad went in for his routine stress test on Wednesday (Nov. 16). The cardiologist read it after they were back in Red River. She called and told them to go to the hospital IMMEDIATELY. They declined and instead stayed in Red River. The next day they drove to the hospital in Rio Rancho where dad finally had an angiogram this afternoon (Friday, Nov. 18). This revealed he had had a heart attack within the last 24 hours. He also has a major blockage in one of the arteries leading to his heart (hence the heart attack). He is being transferred to Presbyterian Hospital, 1100 Central Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. 505-841-1234. Sometime between now and Monday he will receive advice on how to proceed.
