John suffered a major heart event last week and has been in the ICU at Seton since last Thursday (Nov. 16). There has been no definitive diagnosis. His heart is very weak and was working at about 10% capacity when he was admitted to the hospital which put him at risk of organ failure. The work of his heart and lungs is being externally assisted and he is completely sedated at this time. The doctors intend to attempt to slowly wean him from external assistance beginning Tuesday (Nov 21st). We will provide additional updates as information is available.
