Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.   On November 2, 2021, John was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called Mantle Cell Lymphoma.  After our first visit to MD Anderson, it became apparent that the disease is at stage four and has spread to lymph nodes all over his body including bone marrow, GI tract, groin, arm pits, base of tongue, abdomen, etc.  Through the generous help of many family and friends, we were given an opportunity to enroll in a Phase II Clinical trial using two pharmaceuticals (Acalabrutinib and Retuxin) with the goal of driving the cancer into remission and lengthening the time before a potential relapse.
