A few months ago, John started having some trouble swallowing. After eliminating the possibility of an allergic reaction, the doctors found a tumor in his esophagus. After learning it was cancerous, he had a PET scan, which showed the cancer had moved into his liver. We started this site to keep everyone updated on how John's doing in his battle against Stage IV cancer.
