On Tuesday afternoon, November 5, our lives changed forever. I received a call from the middle school where John was substitute teaching, informing me that John had collapsed and lost consciousness. Before the end of the day we received the devastating news that John had a large mass in the frontal lobe of his brain and shortly thereafter we learned it was inoperable, incurable, and aggressive.
