On Friday, October 13 John's son, Andrew, drove John to the emergency room because he had fallen a few times and appeared to have some numbness on the left side of his face and in his left arm. Upon arrival at the hospital, the doctors did a CT scan and found three lesions on John's brain and a spot in his lung. John spent five days in ICU. The doctors conducted a biopsy of the spot on John's lung on Sunday, October 15. The results came back on Wednesday, October 18. The spot on his lung was benign. Give thanks to the Lord! On October 20, the doctors conducted a biopsy of the three lesions on John's brain. To date, we are still awaiting the results of the pathology department.
Many loved ones—siblings, relatives and friends—have visited John while in the hospital, and we thank each one of you for the love you have shown to him. John was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, October 24, and is now in his home. John is able to walk slowly with the assistance of a walker. Your prayers are much appreciated as we await the results of the biopsy of the three lesions.
