On January 6, 2018, John was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of cancer of the bile ducts in his liver. The cancer has metastasized from his liver to the lungs and lymph nodes, and is currently inoperable. He bravely began his first cycle of chemotherapy on January 22nd. Our hope is that chemotherapy, and other available treatments, will slow the progression of the cancer and prolong his time here with us.
Navigating this journey will be his biggest challenge to date. Thank you for stopping by and cheering him on through the fight!
