Thanks for joining us as we pray and lift up our husband, father, step-father, granddad, friend, John John!! John has been dealing with pain in his back area which we thought to be related to his hip. He had finally decided that it was time to get that much needed hip replacement. In a move to ensure the rest of his body was good to go, he had a battery of tests and scans performed on February 14th. The next day, he received a phone call that something had shown up on his scans. Unfortunately, it appears that John has a rather large mass on his lung. Here is our schedule for this week so that we can find out what that mass really means...We plan to show that mass who is BOSS!!!

Tomorrow; Feb 21st, he will undergo an endoscopy and additional bloodwork
Wednesday, Feb 22nd: Bronchoscopy
Friday, Feb 24th he will have a bone scan. 

We'll know a lot more after these tests but in the meantime....we know that the only thing we can count on is our faith in Jesus Christ and his promises in his word. We are so grateful for you and your encouragement has meant everything to John and my Mom. 

John 16:33 tells us "On Earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart because I have OVERCOME THE WORLD" 

We believe this with all that we have in us. We are asking God to heal our John John completely and we are going to look for all of the blessings that we can find in this journey because God promises he will make all things work together for good...so even though this isn't exactly what John John had in mind for 2017...we feel certain that God will be faithful! 

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged for the Lord your God you will be with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9

I have heard your prayers and seen your tears... I will HEAL YOU - 2 Kings 20:5

For I will restore health unto you and I will heal you of your wounds says the Lord - Jeremiah 30:12

Bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefits; who forgives all your sins and heals all of your diseases...so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's - Psalm 103: 2-5

Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you and you will honor me. - Psalm 50:15

It is the Lord that goes before you. He will be with you.  He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be scared. - Deuteronomy 31:8

God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. - 2 Timothy 1:7

God can restore what is broken and change it into something amazing. All you need is faith. - Joel 2:25

God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea. Psalm 46: 1-2

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding but in all ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3: 5-6
