On Monday, March 20, 2017 John was doing some Spring maintenance that involved burning last years weeds and brush. Unfortunately the fire started to spread out of control. In John's efforts to stop the spread of the fire, his clothing caught fire.
John has 3rd degree burns over the lower one third of his body and hands.
John is being treated in the burn center at Region's Hospital, St. Paul MN.
His first surgery was when he first arrived and then another Thursday all day. There is another scheduled for Sunday, March 26. He has a very long road ahead. Thank you for all your prayers. We will keep this site updated as much as possible.
