What happened?
The morning of  Saturday,  October 19th John Baldwin was having difficulty eating his breakfast and movement of his right side of body.  He proceeded to go to emergency room at STPH.  They ran tests to reveal that he had a brain bleed and was airlifted to the neuro ICU at Ochsner Hospital. Soon after arriving at Ochsner another CT scan reveled his brain bleed doubled in size forcing him to undergo emergency brain surgery.  During the surgery they were able to successfully stop the bleeding. John suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. They are still uncertain what caused the bleeding and won’t be able to further investigate until the blood in his brain subsides, which they estimate will be 6-8 weeks from time of surgery.
