Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  John was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in early October, 2018, after losing some weight and becoming jaundiced.  In early October, doctors at Pardee Hospital put in a drain because his bile duct is blocked by the tumor. Surgery at the Levine Cancer Center in Charlotte is planned for October 31st.
