John was diagnosed with Stage IV gastric adenocarcinoma on Feb. 17, 2017. The tumors are in his esophagus, stomach and peritoneum. In March, he received a j-tube which allows for food to 100% bypass his stomach and go directly into his small intestine via an external food pump . He currently takes nothing by mouth. His chemo days are Tuesdays.
