Welcome to our Caring Bridge website for our Joey. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place as our Joey makes this transition to a new home. Please see his story below.

Joey is our beloved brother, son, and friend. On February 15th, he will be making the tough transition to a new home. The new home is operated by Fraser and is only 2 miles from our family home. The opportunity for this home was perfect for Joey and our family. While it came very sudden and fast for our family, we believe it was God's way.

The toughest transition will be Joey's new surroundings and change in people. Our TOP priority is making sure Joey does not feel abandoned, and still feels all the love that surrounds him. This website is our way to help with this transition and continue Joey's amazing life! Please use the Planner on this site to sign up for a time to visit with Joey! On the day of the visit contact myself (Sam - his sister - (952)334-6038) when you are headed over. I will confirm with the house they are available and Joey is present. Once you have visited once, the caretakers will give you their house phone number. After they have met you and given you this number, feel free to contact them directly when visiting.

When visiting Joey, please stay for as short or long as you wish. Visiting him for a simple game of baseball in the backyard, hot chocolate run at West Side Perk, or reading books/playing with puzzles will mean so much to him. OR visiting him and taking him to the Mall of America, Edinburgh, Barnes and Noble, Applebees, etc will be well worth yours and his time. We want to be sure he feels all your love! He will have his own room and bathroom, as well as a common area directly next to his room for his use.

Everyone that has touched Joey and our family's life, means the world to us. We want to continue these amazing relationship ans continue your relationship with Joey. Please do not hesitate to call or email me with ANY questions ((952)334-6038, sam.mcgee@valpo.edu). I am happy to coordinate all so as Joey feels your love.

Thank you in advance, and all my love!
