Joe Vacca

Joe had a relatively minor stroke about two months ago and was working with his medical team to determine the steps needed to treat his situation.  He had been prescribed medication and was having a series of tests done.  Then last Sunday (6/6) night he was having trouble speaking on the phone - confused, not finishing sentences and not able to find the right words.  Joe seemed to be having another stroke.

Joe was picked up by ambulance, taken for evaluation and was admitted to St Anthony's (Mercy South) with stroke symptoms. As they were assessing his situation over the next several hours Joe suffered a massive stroke. 

Joe has been severely affected.
