Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. My brother, Joe is fighting stage IV bladder cancer. He underwent radical surgery in August of 2015, only to have it return with a vengeance in November of 2015. Since then he has undergone gamma knife radiation, for metastatic brain tumors, as well as chemotherapy. He has lost a lot of weight, and he continues to battle this disease like the brave soul that he is. Prayers are needed at this time for a complete recovery and remission. The chemo ravished his body & he has lost a lot of weight, and has waning energy . Any stories of others which inspire will be great. Any hints for re-gaining weight? Currently we are awaiting his next course of recommendations for treatment since chemo was so hard on him.
