Brief synopsis: Joe's journey began after an injury to his foot. This injury was fairly straightforward, until he hurt his knee. An MRI revealed a completely detached ACL, which led to two conditions. He was diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) of both lungs.
