On April 4th 2019, Joe was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. After his surgery we were told it was pre-cancer and he was good to go. Flash forward to October 9th 2021 and Joe was sick again and headed back to Mayo where a CT revealed new lesions on what remained of his pancreas. Following surgery to remove the rest of his pancreas, on January 8th 2022 Joe was diagnosed with Stage 2A Pancreatic Cancer.
