Thank you for visiting.    Late Sunday night, we went to the ER. A CT scan showed a mass on his pancreas. He was admitted to the hospital immediately. Over the past two days, Joe has undergone several diagnostic procedures. It has been determined that he has a malignant tumor on his pancreas. The medical experts have determined the best plan of action is to perform major surgery (Whipple procedure).  He will be hospitalized for 1-2 weeks following surgery, with several weeks of recovery time at home. When he is strong enough, they will follow up with chemotherapy. We are asking for your prayers and healing energy during this time.
