On Nov 10th Joe had a CAT scan because of increasingly intensive headaches. They found a mass and he was referred to a neurologist the following day. He pushed for an MRI on Friday the 11th and was told that evening that he likely had Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma. Joe and his support team met with Dr. Cobbs, a neurosurgeon, on Nov 16th and he also suspected Lymphoma. On Mon Nov 21st Joe went into surgery for a tumor tissue biopsy. The initial flash frozen cross section revealed that it's not Primary CNS Lymphoma but is instead some form of Glioma Brain Cancer. Dr. Cobbs was hesitant to give any further information until the full pathologist report came back. Joe's next appointment is with an oncologist, Dr. Jerome Graber at the Swedish Neuroscience Specialtists Ivy Center.
