Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Welcome wonderful family and friends of Jodi, Adam, Benjamin and Gus. If this is the first your hearing about Jodi's recent diagnosis, we really apologize. Before getting to some details, know Jodi is going to be ok! Most of you know Betty, Jodi's mom was a breast cancer survivor many years ago. Jodi has always been proactive in having regular exams and genetic testing. In January she had a normal mammogram. Two weeks ago she had another mammogram and was asked to stay for an ultra sound (gulp).  The following week she had a biopsy and on Tuesday we learned that the pathology came back with ductal carcinoma.  Yes, what a shock! It has taken some time to sink in and understand everything that is being thrown at them. Jodi and Adam have been meeting with their team of specialists to decide the best treatment plan to insure a 100% recovery.  We all know Jodi to have the biggest smile and a positive attitude, I am confident this will remain the same. Over the next week to ten days they will have a better understanding of her treatment plan, surgery and possible preventive chemotherapy. I will keep this site active throughout their journey with updates. Jodi, Adam, Benjamin and Gus love you all!
With much love,
Wendy
