On May 13th, 2019, I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (Stage 1 Breast Cancer, Grade 3, Triple Negative).
On May 29th, 2019, I had an intravenous port placed in my chest and began my first chemotherapy session on May 30th, 2019. I will have 12 weeks of Taxol treatment (weekly) followed by 4 rounds of AC (Adriamycin+Cyclophosphamide) chemotherapy every two weeks thereafter. A surgical procedure and radiation will complete my treatment regimen.
