Hi Friends and Family! As much as JoAnn didn't want us to create this site, it will be an easier way to keep everyone updated on our Mom, JoAnn, after having an overwhelming amount of people reaching out for updates. We will use this site from now on to update everyone :) Please try to refer to this site for updates going forward :) Your love and support is incredible!

As many of you know, our Mom, JoAnn Simon, was diagnosed with Stage 2 (treatable and curable) ductal breast carcinoma breast cancer in March 2007. She under went a single mastectomy, received chemotherapy, and by August 2007 she finished chemo and was breast cancer free. Unfortunately, she received the news in June 2015, that the cancer had returned. This time she had Stage 4 (treatable, but incurable)  invasive lobular carcinoma breast cancer in her stomach. She has had a hard battle since then, having a feeding tube and a G Tube placed to help give her nutrients and relief as she can no longer eat or drink. She did chemo therapy from August -December 2015 and now they have switched treatment plans. She is the strongest person we know and continuing to keep her spirits high and fight! As she would say, Staying Positive, Staying Strong :)
