Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.
Our sister/mother, Joanne Torres, is currently in the hospital battling pneumonia, shingles, and diabetes complications. Fortunately, she's getting the care she needs, and we expect her home soon.
After she returns home, she will need the support and assistance of friends and family. Her husband, Izzy, had a leg amputated a few years ago. He currently is unable to drive, and will have trouble doing many of the things we take for granted.
We're hoping that those in the Rochester, NY area who care about Joanne and Izzy will be able to help out by delivering meals, running errands, driving them to doctor appointments, or providing household assistance. We will update the task list and calendar regularly, so you can see what's needed when.
