On December 16th, Joan was admitted to St. Mary's hospital and diagnosed with a cancerous, glioblastoma brain tumor. On Monday, January 14th, she underwent two lengthy brain tumor surgeries. The surgeon, Dr. Lozier, was able to remove about 70% of the tumor. Here, we will track her recovery and provide our family and friends with updates as they come.
