*Dad and Mom*
Jim (aka Bingo at the time) met Debra Eckel in March of 1973. Luckily for Jim, Debra’s boyfriend at the time neglected to send her a Valentine’s Day card which infuriated Debra’s friends.  The first thought of those fateful friends was they had the perfect gentleman in mind for Debra who would be the last person in the world to forget a Valentine’s Day card - Jim Walsh. Fast forward 46 years where Jim and Debra built a life together consisting of 39 years of marriage, 3 children, and 4 grandchildren among a plethora of other memories and accomplishments.  Lovingly called “Walshy” by his Eckel ‘brothers’.

*The Story of Why We’re Here*
On Saturday, August 10th, Jim was doing what he does best - enjoying a round of golf! Playing with his brother-in-law and nephew, they rounded out the day with Uncle Danny having no mercy and taking the win.

Early on the morning of August 11, Jim suffered a stroke and was brought to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Jim was completely surrounded by family every second of this experience.  On Thursday, August 15, 2019, The Assumption of Mary, Jim joined the Blessed Mother and reached out to take the hand of his mother, Margaret Walsh, in eternal life with God.
