On December 1st our dad was admitted to Sacred Heart Medical Center.  After 9 months of being sick, being diagnosed with Adult Still's Disease, and many doctor's appointments he was still not getting better.  He had several biopsies, CAT scans, and MRI's to rule out cancer.  All of these tests came back negative.  He continued treatment for Still's Disease but wasn't seeing any progress.  He experienced many rough nights and had severe weight loss (60+ pounds).  In May of 2016 he no longer had the strength and stamina to do what he loved which was work as a principal at Freeman High School.  Prior to being admitted to the hospital he experienced rapid heart rate and shortness of breath.  Close family friend and family doctor Dr. Sayres fit him into his schedule and immediately had him admitted into the hospital.  On December 9th our dad was diagnosed with Lymphoma and has been fighting since.  We are making this Caring Bridge so that his loved ones, friends, co-workers, and students can keep up with his journey.  We have been reading all of the thoughtful letters to him and will read the messages left on here.  Thank you for all the prayers.  He is a fighter and we know he can get through this with God on his side.
