Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Jim had a fall out at the cabin Wednesday (August 24th) night. Paramedics were called and they decided to put him on life support and air lift him to Fargo for further care.

On Friday (August 26th), they determined Jim was able to breathe on his own and took the tubes out. Since, he has not been very conscious except to be able to respond to basic commands such as moving his hands and feet. His brain just needs to rest and recover. The doctors have done CT scans, Xrays and MRIs. They have determined there is some brain injury and a bleed on the frontal lobe.

Currently he sleeps most of the day and is supposed to not be stimulated too much so he can recover.

We appreciate everyone wanting to reach out and visit Jim, but for his recovery process we are asking for it to be immediate family only and we will continue to update on this website and read him messages once he becomes aware.
