Jim Rodrigues

This morning, Wednesday 11/2/16, Jim collapsed from a pulmonary embolism. He was taken by ambulance to Evergreen Critical Care. Jim has not felt well the last couple days. This morning he seemed worse but couldn't put his finger on it. Peg left for work, only to turn right back because her gut told her it was something serious. Shortly after she returned, Jim collapsed into her arms and Logan called 911. Jim had knee surgery 4 weeks ago and the doctors think this might be blood clots resulting from the surgery. There are no other definitive answers yet, but they do know that he has many blood clots all over, in his lungs, and a large one pressing on his heart. They are keeping him comfortable as they continue to do tests. Peg is with him and family is flying in to support her and help with the kids. This Caring Bridge site is being created to keep friends and family informed along the way and is a wonderful way for the Rodrigues family to receive your thoughts, support, words and love.
