Hello, Friends and Family! This site will be where I (Amy) and eventually Jimmy post updates on his upcoming surgery and subsequent recovery. Jimmy is having surgery on February 6th at Mayo-St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN to repair the deformities of his right leg. Currently, he bears about 80 percent of his weight on his left leg when walking and standing. As a result, he is experiencing more pain and gets worn out quicker. Repairing the twisting of his right leg and angling out of his right foot will help him to increase the amount of weight-bearing on his right leg. It also will reduce his fall risk because his right foot won't get caught on things as much.
