Jim Mytinger Jim's Brain Cancer GBM

The splitting headache wouldn't, couldn't stop. All the aspirin, Tylenol and Aleve just didn't cut it. It progressively got worse over a few days. When one morning my mouth downturned, my leg twitched and I got very confused we feared it was a stroke. On March 10, 2019, my wife, Laura, took me the ER at KU Medical Center where an MRI showed a Glioblastoma Multiforme Level 4 (GBM) formed and approached crossing the midline. After additional testing, surgery was scheduled 3 days later. So far we've had 3 brain surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. It's terminal. No one knows what causes it. No one knows how to cure it. The best we can do is manage it with what is known and a whole lot of FAITH.
