Monday evening (6/24) Jim was sitting at the kitchen table, got up and walked out to the garage. I heard a loud noise and ran out to see him laying on the garage floor. I thought he had just fell, but I soon learned there was something seriously wrong. I called my neighbor to help because I couldn’t get Jim to answer me or squeeze my hand with his right hand. I called the squad and our nightmare continued as went through various tests at the and was unsure of his prognosis. We soon found out that he had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. He was unable to speak and lost complete mobility of his right side.
