Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

Jim was recently diagnosed with a virally induced Tongue Cancer.  After several weeks with a sore throat and an ear ache he could not shake, a CT scan revealed a lump on the back of his tongue.  A biopsy confirmed the cancer and a course of treatment that includes weekly chemotherapy and daily radiation was ordered. The prognosis for this form of cancer is good and we have high hopes that the chemo/radiation combination will be effective and permanent.  This all came as we also were chasing a diagnosis that has caused severe back pain and neuropathy in Jim’s legs which is pointing to an auto immune disease. We have so many friends, co-workers and family who have expressed concern about what we are facing, we felt this Caring Bridge page would be the best way to communicate the information to everyone.  Please follow along and watch for future journal entries as Jim’s treatment progresses. All forms of positive energy and prayer are welcome!
 Thank you for visiting.
