Dear Friends and Family, As some of you may already know, Thursday evening, August 9th, Jim used the pull down ladder to go up in to the attic over the garage and fell backwards hitting his head on the cement floor resulting in a severe brain injury. He was immediately airlifted to Lee Memorial Trauma center, where shortly after arriving he went into surgery to relieve the pressure from his brain. He made it through the first night and had a CT scan in the morning, which showed further bruising and bleeding in the brain. He made it through the second night with no significant changes. As of right now we are in a wait and see situation. Please send out positive energy, prayers and thoughts for Jim and our family as we are trying to keep our hopes up. We will try to post updates as we have them.
We know what an amazing and strong man Jim is. He has touched so many of our lives with his example. While looking through his wallet I found a bible verse that he lives by:
"Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before you, oh Lord, my rock and my redeemer" (ps. 19).
God bless all of you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
