Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Jim fell coming home after an evening out attending a show at the Capital theater with his Mom on Saturday, October 12. He was taken to ER by ambulance on October 13. He had surgery to repair torn ACL a couple days later. The surgery was successful and he was transferred to  Burlington Care Center for 6 weeks of immobilization followed by rehab.  He went back into ICU with 4 units low blood count. He returned to Burlington Care but his surgery became infected. More surgery was required and he was put into a full let cast. However, his infection has returned and more surgery to  remove the new parts was performed  on November 19.

To summarize Jim has had 3 knee surgeries and 2 serious infections in 2 months. He is currently at GRMC and needs your help. Please check in on him as you are able.
