I must give my "story" a catch phrase. Based on the past 13 days of my life and those coming into my circle of "care", I would offer this story line ... " The Man Returned from Bermuda Island with NO SHOES "
I will continue this story of how "powerful and magnificent our GOD IS , and will testify to you about how, who, and when. Notice I did not mention "why"! This has been the question by all, and God has not seen fit to reveal "why". But the great thing is He is using multiple "angels" like you !!!
As a Father , what honor and excitement overcame me upon the invitation by our son (Patrick) for me to be his guest for his awards ceremony. Novartis Pharmaceutical would be honoring the President's Club inductees at ceremonies in " Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda ". Patrick and I shared the excitement of planning our activities for the 5 day trip to the Bermuda Islands in the Atlantic. (yes the Bermuda Triangle area). First was my update of a never used passport for me. Here are the things we had scheduled : Monday golf @ Port Royal Golf Club, followed by social evening with fellow honorees. Tues. was touring the island via " moped scooters ", with evening of awards presentations. Wed: was to be a personal jet-ski around the island, with stop for snorkeling along sunken ship hulls. Final "gala" in the evening with departure for home on Thurs. 1st day after finishing golf, I would begin experiencing the symptoms of " Bullous Pemphgoid " ( a "rare" autoimmune disease ) .... itching, swelling, skin color changes, blisters, mouth ulcers....this website and journal will document my fears, the "moments" and individuals that God used, and is using to support and help me learn about my new life. I return to US soil barefooted !
