Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Below is his current condition:

Jim came into the hospital Friday morning after having a mild stroke at work. He was taken to Athens Regional and treated there. After the first day his heart condition was returning back to normal and he was feeling better but was complaining that his head was hurting. A CT showed that there was some swelling in his brain so the doctors quickly got him in to surgery. Since then they have been draining the fluid and will continue to do so for the next few days. They will continue to monitor the swelling day by day. The doctors say his progress is right where they expect it to be. He is getting better by the day and has been responsive ever since he got to the hospital. Please continue to keep him in your prayers as well as our family. We will add updates on this site (which you can subscribe to) when we have any new information. God bless you and hope everyone is well.
