Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. 


Where do we begin...Jim as you all know has always been the "strong one."  This strong man has been living in a body weakened by heart failure for many years.   Jim has never let this be an obstacle in his life, driving through every issue that came his way. 


Unfortunately these last few days we have learned that his heart can no longer keep up with the demands of his body.  Through a series of test we were informed that his kidneys were struggling.  Actions were taken to remove the build up of fluids to help the kidneys, but this put him in afib.  Which lead to a quick series of events.  Decisions were made to sedate Jim and place him on a ventilator and a dialysis machine to prepare his body for a LVAD device.
