Jim Collins Jim Collins' Recovery

First post: Apr 16, 2016 Latest post: Aug 9, 2017
On Thursday, April 14th at 6:40AM while traveling to work on the 118 highway, Jim's truck was struck head on by a vehicle out of control.  Jim was rushed to VCMC trauma center, stabilized, then went to surgery to repair multiple broken bones.  Following 5 hours in the operating room, Jim was admitted to the ICU. His injuries include multiple fractures to his ribs, sternum, clavicle, skull, both legs and lacerations. Jim is being treated by many of the best trauma surgeons, plastic surgeon, intensivists, neurosurgeon as well as the best nursing staff from VCMC's ICU.

His status remains critical at this time, but we know the Lord has His hand upon Jim's journey to recovery.

We ask that your energy be geared towards prayers for Jim's healing,  the medical personnel's wisdom as well as patience and strength for each one of us.

With God in control and your loving support, Jim will persevere!

PLEASE NOTE - we are not seeking donations, this site has a built in donation section that benefits the website's organization but if you know Jim at all, you know he doesn't want anyone donating to anything relative to him!

Bev, Jill,Kevin, Brinley, Jeff and KatieJo each thank everyone of you for your love and your support.
