Jim has been feeling fatigued for some time but only last week realized it was due to heart disease. An angiogram  proved that blocked arteries would need to be corrected by open heart surgery.  He has been laying low since Thanksgiving and his surgery is scheduled for Weds., Dec. 11, 2019 at CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center in St. Cloud. His surgeon says he is an excellent candidate for the surgery because he is in great shape and is an otherwise healthy fellow so the prognosis is very good. It is expected that he will be hospitalized for 3-5 days and then the healing process begins. All the offers of prayers are much appreciated and he has felt them already.  Updates to come as we begin this journey.
